David Gilmer Towell (born June 9, 1937) is a former American politician who represented the state of Nevada in the U.S. House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party, he served a single term as the at-large representative for Nevada from January 3, 1973, to January 3, 1975. During this period, he was part of the 93rd Congress.

Towell held the role of Representative for Nevada’s at-large district, reflecting the statewide nature of his constituency at the time.
