James Lindsay Almond (born June 15, 1898) was a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from Virginia. He represented Virginia’s 6th congressional district and served two terms in Congress. Almond held office as a U.S. Representative from January 3, 1945, to January 3, 1949.
During his tenure in the House, Almond served as a historical member of Congress for Virginia in the immediate post–World War II period. Identified in congressional records by the bioguide ID A000163, he was part of the Democratic Party delegation from his state.
