Congresswoman Lisa McClain proudly represents Michigan’s 9th District in the United States House of Representatives.
After serving as Secretary of the House Republican Conference for the 118th Congress, Congresswoman McClain was elected by her colleagues to continue serving in leadership as Chairwoman of the Conference for the 119th Congress.
Congresswoman McClain has spent her time in Congress championing issues that impact her home State of Michigan as well as the entire country. Policy areas like agriculture, economics, financial services, national defense, homeland security, immigration, healthcare, and veterans affairs are just a few of the issues Rep. McClain passionately works on each day in Congress.
She currently serves as a member of the House Committee on Financial Services and the Committee on Education and Workforce.
Prior to serving in Congress, Lisa spent more than 30 years building and growing a top-tier business from the ground up. She has firsthand knowledge from the private sector that she uses to advocate for important issues on behalf of her constituents. Lisa is proud to serve and work for the people of Michigan’s 9th District. Lisa lives in Romeo with her husband Mike, four kids and dog, Peanut.
