Senator Joe S. San Agustin is a proud son of Guam who has made this beautiful island his home with his wife, Joanne, and their family. Like many families on Guam, he has worked diligently to build a happy and healthy life for his loved ones. Growing up, the values of faith and service were instilled in him, and as soon as he had the opportunity, he dedicated himself to giving back to the community.

Senator San Agustin served as a police officer with the Guam Police Department, working to protect and serve the people of Guam. He also served his country in the U.S. Army, and continued his public service at the Department of Revenue and Taxation as a tax compliance investigator. Additionally, he served as a former chair and member of the Guam Education Policy Board, where he worked to improve the educational system on the island.

Having served as a senator in the Guam Legislature since 2017, Senator San Agustin has had the privilege of serving the people of Guam on a broader scale. He has championed several pieces of legislation aimed at improving the lives of local families, such as lowering gas taxes and easing the financial burdens on Guam’s residents. Through his ongoing dedication, Senator Joe S. San Agustin continues to work tirelessly for the betterment of the people of Guam.
