Mathew McIntyre is a dedicated public servant and a member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 18. He assumed office on December 3, 2024, after winning the general election on November 5, 2024. McIntyre is a member of the Republican Party and has a strong commitment to serving his constituents and the state of Maine.

Rep. McIntyre served in the US Navy for 7 years, before being honorably discharged in 1998. In the Navy, served as a nuclear propulsion machinist, including wartime service in the Persian Gulf. In 1999, McIntyre joined the United States Secret Service and retired from that team in 2020.

Mathew is a lifetime member of the VFW and the Lowell Volunteer Group, demonstrating his dedication to veterans and community service.

McIntyre holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Excelsior University.

He is married to Kerry, and in his spare time, he enjoys woodworking.
