Edgardo Feliciano Sánchez was born on January 30, 1976 in the municipality of Bayamón. Since he was little he stood out academically in the country’s public system, studying at the Teodomiro Taboas and Fernando Callejo schools in the Municipality of Manatí. At age 18 he moved to Vega Baja, which has been his home for the past 32 years and where he has stood out as a community leader.
He entered the University of Puerto Rico, Arecibo Campus, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, and later, he completed a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from the Inter-American University, Metropolitan Campus.
From a very young age he was interested in public service and adopted serving as a philosophy of life.
In his journey through public service he has worked in the Municipality of Vega Baja, Department of Education and in the Department of Natural Resources, where he has distinguished himself for his service and capacity.
He was re-elected as Representative for District 12 and appointed as spokesperson on the Natural Resources Commissions, the Northern Region and the Joint Commission on Mitigation, Adaptation and Resilience to Climate Change. Its commitment has been to be a unifying entity to advance cutting-edge legislation together with its colleagues. Its legislative agenda has focused on social and labor justice and combating the problems that climate change has caused on our island.
