Tatiana Pérez Ramírez was born on May 21, 1988 in New York City, into a diverse family, with a Puerto Rican father and a Colombian mother. However, his home has always been the El Cibao neighborhood in the municipality of Camuy.

From an early age he was distinguished by his values, education, and desire to work hard for his family and the community where he grew up. He completed his academic training in the island’s public schools and from a young age he joined the workforce with the purpose of financing his university studies.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico Arecibo Campus. He completed his Master’s degree, with high honors, in Educational Management and Leadership from the same university institution. His passion for education earned him the prestigious Rector’s Medal in recognition of his hard work and academic excellence.

During his professional career he has worked on various platforms, both in the private and public sectors. He worked with distinction in the restaurant and supermarket sector. But her passion is helping others, so she made the decision to enter public service working first, as a teacher in the Department of Education, from where she took her first steps, and then she served as Municipal Legislator in her beloved Camuy where she was always aware of the educational, security and infrastructure needs of the communities it served.

Pérez Ramírez has focused on assisting communities, especially after the devastating passage of Hurricanes Irma and María in September 2017, listening to and helping to emotionally rebuild those who lost everything. Motivated by a deep commitment to the needs of communities and families in Puerto Rico, she decided to aspire to an elected position.

On November 5, 2024, she was elected Representative for Accumulation. She was appointed to chair the Education Commission.
