Robert (Bob) Ide is an American politician and realtor who has served as a member of the Wyoming Senate from the 29th district since the 2022 Wyoming Senate election. Born in Boulder, Colorado, Ide earned a degree in agribusiness from the University of Wyoming in 1981. He is a businessperson in the real estate industry. In 2022, he defeated incumbent Republican Drew Perkins in the primary election, securing the Republican Party nomination. Ide’s candidacy was endorsed by former congressman Ron Paul.
