Lane Allred is an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives representing the 21st district since January 10, 2023. Born in Afton, Wyoming, Allred earned a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in 1971 and a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in 2004. His volunteer involvement includes serving on the Fairview Cemetery board, the Fairview Irrigation District, the Star Valley Historical Society, and the Lincoln County School District #2 board of directors. Lane Allred won election in the general election for Wyoming House of Representatives District 21 on November 8, 2022, with 96.8% of the votes. In the Republican primary, he defeated Jeremiah Hardesty with 58.5% of the votes. Allred is currently assigned to several committees, including the Joint Education Committee, Joint Agriculture, State and Public Lands and Water Resources Committee, and the Small Business Assistance Program Advisory Panel. His term ends on January 6, 2025.
