Sue Wilkins Myrick (born August 1, 1941) is a former American politician who represented North Carolina in the U.S. House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party, she served as the U.S. Representative for North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District from January 4, 1995, to January 3, 2013. Over the course of her congressional service, she completed nine terms in office.
During her 18 years in Congress, Myrick served as a Republican representative focused on the interests of her North Carolina constituents in the 9th District. She left office at the conclusion of her final term in 2013 and is recognized as a historical member of Congress from North Carolina.
