Thaddeus G. McCotter (born August 22, 1965) is a former Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from Michigan. He represented Michigan’s 11th Congressional District and served in Congress for nearly a decade, from January 7, 2003, until July 6, 2012. Over the course of his tenure, he completed five terms in the House.

During his time in office, McCotter served as a Representative for Michigan, focusing his work on the interests and concerns of constituents in the 11th District. Identified in congressional records by the biographical guide ID M001147, he was part of the Republican Party’s delegation from Michigan throughout his service. McCotter left office in 2012 and is regarded as a historical member of Congress from the state.
